Terms of Service
Last updated September 26, 2026
These terms explain the rules for using Tovira, for businesses that take bookings and for clients who make them.
The short version
- Tovira helps businesses take bookings. Each appointment is between the client and the business.
- Businesses own their data and are responsible for their services, prices, policies and how they contact clients.
- We don't sell anyone's personal information.
- Tovira is free during early access. We'll give 30 days' notice before any paid plans, and never charge without your choice.
- Don't misuse the service: no fake bookings, spam, or attempts to break in.
This summary helps you read the full text below; it doesn't replace it.
1. About these terms
Tovira is an online booking service operated by mb3techs ("mb3techs", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to everyone who uses Tovira:
- Businesses: salons, spas, barbers and other service providers who create an account to take bookings, and the people they invite to help run it ("you" when we speak to a business).
- Clients: people who book, change or cancel an appointment with a business through a Tovira booking page.
By creating an account, or by making a booking, you agree to these Terms and confirm you have read our Privacy Policy. If you use Tovira on behalf of a company, you confirm you can accept these Terms for it. If you don't agree, please don't use Tovira.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create a business account.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date, including your business name, address and contact details.
- Keep your password private and use a strong, unique one. You're responsible for activity under your account; tell us straight away at the address below if you think someone else has accessed it.
- You're responsible for anyone you give access to your business, and for removing access they no longer need.
3. Your responsibilities as a business
Tovira is a tool that helps you take bookings. You remain responsible for your business and your relationship with your clients, including:
- Your services. The services, prices, staff, opening hours and policies you publish, and delivering the appointments that clients book.
- Your policies. Your cancellation, late-arrival and no-show rules, and making them clear to clients.
- Your clients' information. Collecting and using client details lawfully, giving clients any notices the law requires, and only contacting them in ways the law allows (for example, getting consent before sending marketing messages or text messages where required, such as under the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act and CAN-SPAM Act).
- Your content. Anything you add to Tovira (business details, descriptions, email wording, photos) must be accurate, lawful and yours to use.
- Laws that apply to you. Including licensing, consumer protection, anti-discrimination, tax and privacy laws where you operate.
4. Booking as a client
- Your booking is with the business, not with mb3techs. The business provides the service and sets its prices and cancellation rules. Questions or complaints about a service, a payment or a missed appointment should go to the business.
- Give your real name and contact details so the business can confirm your appointment and reach you if something changes.
- The link in your confirmation lets anyone who has it view, change or cancel your booking. Don't share it.
- When you book, the business receives your details and Tovira sends you messages about your appointment on its behalf. See our Privacy Policy for how this works.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or use the service for illegal, harmful, deceptive or adult services;
- make fake, abusive or automated bookings, or send spam or unwanted messages through the service;
- impersonate a person or business, or publish content that is misleading, hateful, harassing or infringes someone else's rights;
- access accounts or data that aren't yours, or try to get around security, rate limits or access controls;
- scan, probe or test the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission (please report security issues to us instead);
- copy, scrape, resell or reverse engineer the service, or interfere with or overload it;
- upload viruses or other harmful code.
6. Your data
You own your business data, including your client list and booking history. You give us permission to host, copy, process and display it only as needed to run Tovira for you, to keep it secure, and as described in our Privacy Policy.
For client information that a business collects through Tovira, the business decides how it is used and we process it on the business's behalf. We don't sell it, and we don't use it to market to your clients.
You can ask us for a copy of your business data at any time by emailing info@mb3techs.com.
7. Fees
Tovira is currently offered free of charge while we are in early access. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell businesses at least 30 days in advance, and you won't be charged unless you choose a paid plan. Clients are never charged by mb3techs for booking; any payment for a service is between the client and the business.
8. Emails and other messages
Tovira sends account emails (like password resets) and appointment emails (like confirmations and reminders) on behalf of businesses. We work to deliver them reliably, but email can be delayed, filtered as spam or not arrive. Businesses shouldn't rely on them as the only way to reach a client.
9. Our service and intellectual property
mb3techs owns Tovira, including its software, design and branding. Subject to these Terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it. These Terms don't give you any other rights in it.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
10. Changes and availability
We're improving Tovira all the time, so features may change, be added or be removed. We aim to keep the service available and secure, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, for example during maintenance or problems with our hosting, database or email providers. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a business can do, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.
11. Suspension and closing accounts
You can stop using Tovira at any time. To close your account and delete your data, email info@mb3techs.com.
We may suspend or close an account, or take down a booking page, if we reasonably believe it breaks these Terms or the law, puts clients, other users or the service at risk, or if we are required to by law. Where appropriate we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem. When a business is suspended, its booking page stops taking bookings.
After an account is closed, we delete or anonymize its data within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep some of it to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or prevent abuse.
12. Disclaimers
Tovira is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not responsible for the services businesses provide, or for what businesses and clients do.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, mb3techs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, bookings, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Tovira.
Our total liability for any claim relating to Tovira is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
If you use Tovira as a business, you agree to defend and compensate mb3techs against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your services, your content, your use of client information, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where mb3techs is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any legal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights the law of your home state or country gives you.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and if a change is significant we'll tell businesses by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Tovira after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply.
